This private Tenerife tour is a comfortable way to see a large part of the island in one day without travelling in a large coach or sharing the vehicle with strangers.

You travel only with your own group in a spacious, air-conditioned 4WD minivan, accompanied by an experienced driver who takes you through some of Tenerife’s most characteristic landscapes, towns and viewpoints.

The route brings together very different sides of the island: the mountain village of Masca, the volcanic scenery of Teide National Park, Garachico on the north coast, traditional La Orotava, Icod de los Vinos and several scenic viewpoints along the way.

The biggest advantage is that the whole vehicle is reserved for your group. You follow a carefully planned itinerary, but in a much more comfortable and personal setting than on a standard group excursion.

During the journey, your driver shares information about Tenerife, its history, landscapes and local life, so the day is not only about moving from one place to another, but also about understanding what you are seeing along the way.

Route changes

Tamarán will follow the main itinerary described in the tour programme whenever technical, weather, safety and access conditions allow.

However, the route may be changed before the activity starts or during the tour if technical, operational, weather-related or safety reasons, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Tamarán’s control, make any part of the planned route unavailable or unsuitable.

This may include, for example:

• official restrictions or decisions issued by the relevant authorities
• road closures or restricted access to natural areas
• sporting events or other authorised events
• traffic disruptions
• accidents
• landslides
• roadworks
• weather alerts
• environmental protection measures
• any other circumstances that may affect safety or the normal operation of the tour

In such cases, Tamarán may adjust the route, change the order of the visits, replace certain stops with alternative locations, or omit stops that cannot be reached.

Whenever possible, the organiser will aim to preserve the main highlights, overall duration and essential elements of the booked experience.

Changes made for these reasons are not considered a full cancellation of the activity and do not, by themselves, entitle the customer to a full refund.

1. How does the booking process work?
   The tour is booked online. Once the reservation is confirmed, you receive your voucher and the details of your pick-up.
2. Is this a private tour?
   Yes. The minivan is reserved exclusively for your group.
3. What vehicle is used?
   The tour takes place in a spacious, air-conditioned minivan with four-wheel drive.
4. Is hotel pick-up included?
   Yes. Pick-up and return transport from your accommodation or a nearby meeting point are included.
5. How long does the tour last?
   Approximately 7 hours.
6. Can the tour be longer than 7 hours?
   Yes. Depending on availability, the tour can be extended for an additional charge, up to a maximum of 10 hours. Contact us after booking if you would like to add extra time.
7. Is lunch included?
   No. A restaurant stop is planned during the tour, but food and drinks are paid separately.
8. Can I cancel the booking?
   Yes. You can cancel up to 24 hours before the activity and receive a full refund.
9. Can I change the date?
   Yes. Date changes are free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour.
10. Is the tour suitable for children?
    Yes. Children can participate, and the child category applies from 0 to 11 years old.
11. Can the route change?
    Yes. The itinerary may be adjusted if weather conditions, road closures, safety issues, official restrictions, traffic disruptions or other circumstances beyond the organiser’s control make part of the planned route unavailable.
12. What happens if one of the planned stops cannot be visited?
    The organiser may change the order of the itinerary, replace the stop with another location or omit it if necessary. Whenever possible, the main character and duration of the tour will be maintained.
13. Does a route change mean the tour has been cancelled?
    No. A justified change to the itinerary is not considered a full cancellation of the activity and does not automatically entitle the customer to a full refund.
14. What happens if the entire activity has to be cancelled?
    If the whole tour cannot take place due to circumstances covered by the organiser’s cancellation policy, the available options will depend on the specific situation and the organiser’s terms.
